this guy gets two thumbs up
When a man damn near dies he gets a much better perspective on things....and if he doesnt he is likely a dick. So I am not a big guitarist outside of my own basement but I love to sit and make music for my kids and for my mind...its enriching their lives and building a bond. Its for the love of music I play...and its for the love of music that Phil continues to play with friends for his friends(all of us). So he may not have the sweet voice we loved on the songs for so long....but he was the drive under these songs and still is. He is so damn musical it isnt even funny....Inspirational and influential as Jerry (to me). And he is still out there doing it.... I salute him for not straying from who he is....the bass of the grateful dead. He is always trying new and knows it hasnt and doesnt and may not always work. But he is not scared to try.....I hear and feel the spirit in his creation....unlike what others (unnamed rythym guitar)have done. Phil simply put
YOU ARE THE FUCKIN MAN!

sounds good to me
good show. there are some great jams
sounds like it was a high amount of energy in the building that night
sound comes through good on my system> althoiugh i have 2 rebuilt realistic radio shack 2.5" speakers that are housed in an egg carton but i can usually tell if its a good recording or not. i think this one is good.
very funky terrapin!
at 7:15 of doin that rag someone yells "who took the archive?"
